While the lion’s share of the Council’s policy advocacy takes place at the federal level, we are acutely aware of the difficulty many large, nationwide employers face when dealing with laws and regulations at the state and local level. Nowhere is this more apparent than in paid leave policy.

In the latest edition of Just a Minute!, Council President Katy Johnson reminds members of the Paid Leave Atlas. This online tool, developed in partnership with Seyfarth Shaw LLP, allows Council members to obtain vital information and resources on these laws by jurisdiction.
