Just a Minute! on Reform of the 340B Prescription Drug Pricing Program

As we reported in the September 25 Benefits Byte, the American Benefits Council continues to push lawmakers for reform of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, which was originally intended to help low-income patients but has been manipulated by hospital systems to generate massive profits.
In the latest edition of Just a Minute!, Council President Katy Johnson describes how several recent developments have returned a spotlight to this issue. We hope to build on this momentum in the weeks and months to come in service of much-needed, meaningful reform.
