DOL Reinstates Advisory Opinion on Rollover Advice

The DOL has reinstated Advisory Opinion 2005-23A, clarifying that recommending a rollover from a plan to an IRA is not fiduciary advice if the advisor is not otherwise a plan fiduciary.
