DOL Withdraws Proposal to Revoke Pre-1999 Insurance Policy Regulation

In response to significant adverse comments — including from the Council — the DOL will retain a regulation protecting certain pre-1999 insurance contracts (“Transition Policies”) from ERISA plan asset rules.
